Loopa

LOOPA is a meditation on continuity.

Rooted in the ancient ritual of burning bukhoor, LOOPA reimagines the traditional madkhan through a contemporary lens, where material, form, and function move in an endless rhythm. The design draws inspiration from the loop: a symbol deeply embedded in regional culture, representing unity, connection, and the cyclical nature of life.

Carved from upcycled stone, each cylindrical pillar stands as a quiet monument to permanence and earth. These stone forms are bound together by eco silicon leather loops, meticulously wrapped to create both structure and softness. The looping bands echo traditional weaving techniques found across the region, once executed with palm fronds and natural fibers, now reinterpreted through modern, ethical materials.

LOOPA is not just a bukhoor burner.
It is a bridge between past and present.
A continuous form.
A ritual, looped.
